Your Mission
At Acquired.com, our Partner and Alliances team within the Commercial function are relentlessly focussed on solving customer problems, building long-term relationships, and harnessing next generation solutions to deliver a seamless payment experience our customers love.
We’re looking for next Partner Manager, a teammate who is proactive, resourceful, and dedicated to creating demand, interest and excitement for our products and services.
This role would suit a seasoned hunter, with proven new Partner acquisition (new business) experience within payments or complex Saas integrations. Knowledge of ISVs, Systems Integrators and platforms in Financial Services such as Lending and Insurance; Retail; Parking, ticketing and hail and ride would be an asset.
You’ll be responsible for all aspects of sales management, from lead generation, prospecting, supporting partner sales enablement, defining co-marketing activities, and ensuring that the partnership delivers and win/win for both Acquired.com and our platform partners.
We need a creative and resourceful collaborator who will actively listen to problems and then accelerate the team towards the successful on-boarding of new partners to help execute the company’s growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit new strategically aligned partners
- Exceed partner acquisition, growth & retention targets as defined by the Head of Partner & Alliances
- Build compelling market analysis of sector opportunities, with a relentless focus on pipeline build and conversion metrics
- Develop customised targeted sales strategies for new ISV, platform and technology partners
- Create comprehensive presentations and proposals that drive new business opportunities
- Maintain our CRM of current and prospective client information, driving best practise
- Demonstrate and market the Acquired.com product proposition
- Manage high-level partnership negotiations to ensure a fair and favourable relationship for all parties Lead negotiations and related contract terms to create a mutually beneficial relationships
- Close sales opportunities to time and budget
- Collaborate cross-functionally drive successful partner onboarding
- Maximise opportunities to raise brand positioning and thought leadership by collaborating with marketing on partner campaigns, media events, optimise attendance at strategic conferences and events
- Evangelise the Acquired.com partner program and maximise commercial return for all partnerships managed
- Build and deepen partnerships that enable Acquired.com to grow in line with our overall strategy across all our current and new payment & banking solutions
- Collaborate with management on sales strategy, goals, planning, and forecasting
- Help us improve our ways of working so the team can operate more effectively across multiple projects and teams
- Represent the company at identified strategic conferences and events
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of partner and alliances experience in a fast-paced technology-driven company (preferably complex SaaS integrations, experience with gateway/acquiring/alternative/wallets would be an advantage).
- Experience scaling partner programmes in the ISVs and platforms sector
- Deep understanding of complex partner and alliance ecosystems, how to drive sales cycles and integrations.
- Passion for lead generation, with compelling evidence of consistently hitting and exceeding sales acquisition targets.
- Commercially astute and experienced in developing business cases and ROI in collaboration with partners including managing sales cycles in a coordinated fashion.
- The ability to structure and plan your work, and execute to your plan.
- Passion for understanding customers, their problems, opportunities, and experiences.
- Ability to establish rapport, credibility & influence at all levels of an organisation, including C suite.
- Polished interpersonal skills and professional communication style
- An entrepreneurial spirit and excited to work on complex problems at scale
- Motivated by delivering win-win outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously with a balanced team approach, you don't need to wait for directions, but know when buy-in is critical.
